ACCOMMODATION POLICY
- The hotel is only entitled to accommodate a guest who duly registers and presents a valid ID (Czech state ID card, passport). If the guest fails to present a valid ID, the hotel is entitled to refuse accommodation to the guest with regard to the Local Tax Act for Czech citizens and Act 314/2015 Coll. for foreign clients.
- Upon multiple entry of a guest who has already checked into the hotel, the guest is obliged to present the valid hotel ID that was used to check in at the hotel upon request.
- The guest is obliged to pay the prices in accordance with the current price list for the entire stay during check-in at the reception. Guests pay for other services provided during their stay or upon check-out. Guests may be asked to pay the amount at any time during their stay.
- The hotel does not provide currency exchange services. However, it is possible to pay bills in Euros at the hotel’s current and pre-announced exchange rate. The hotel is obliged to issue a receipt to the guest or buyer for the services provided and the sale of goods. The hotel must also register the revenue received with the tax administrator online; no later than within 48 hours in case of a technical failure.
- The hotel is not liable for items brought into the hotel by the guest or for damage to items left behind, unless they have been left in a designated place. The hotel is only liable for jewellery, money and other valuables if they have been stored in the hotel safe or deposited with the hotel or if they have been damaged by the actions of a hotel employee.
- A guest can use a room for the time-period arranged with the hotel. If the accommodation time has not been agreed in advance, the room is to be vacated by no later than 10 a.m. on the last day. If the guest does not do so by the said time, the hotel may charge the guest for another day of accommodation. In the event that the hotel has previously booked the room and the guest does not obey the request or is not present at the hotel, the hotel reserves the right to take the guest’s belongings and store them in a safe place so that the room can be used by the guest who booked it.
- On the basis of a confirmed reservation, the hotel is obliged to accommodate the guest from 2 p.m. to 12 a.m. Until then the hotel shall reserve the room for the guest, unless otherwise specified in the order. Any request for accommodation before 2 p.m. must be agreed with the hotel in advance and await confirmation from the hotel.
- Without the hotel management’s authorisation, a guest is not allowed to move furniture or equipment, conduct modifications or make any interventions whatsoever into the electrical or other installations.
- Smoking is prohibited in all hotel rooms and public areas, except those specifically designated for this purpose. In the event of a breach of this obligation, the hotel is entitled to charge the guest a cleaning fee of CZK 5,000.
- A guest is not allowed to use their own electrical appliances in the hotel, and especially in the rooms. This regulation does not apply to electrical appliances used for the guest’s personal hygiene (shavers, hair-dryers).
- Guests are obliged to turn off the taps in the room, close the door, turn off the lights in the room and hand over the keys to enter the hotel room or other areas of the hotel to reception at check-out.
- In case of loss of the room card, the guest is obliged to immediately report the loss at the reception desk. In the event of failure to do so, the hotel will not be liable for any damages related to the loss of the card. Guests will be charged a CZK 500 fee for a lost card. This fee must be paid before departure from the hotel.
- For safety reasons it is not advisable to leave children up to 10 years of age alone in the room or the hotel’s common areas. Any damage caused by children in the hotel is the full responsibility of their legal guardian.
- For security reasons the hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation or to terminate accommodation immediately, as well as to refuse service or to prohibit the stay in the hotel directly to persons whose behaviour, appearance or demeanour does not correspond to the normal principles and standards of a three-star hotel of international level, as well as to persons who:
- a) have committed an act that is beyond the usual level of harassment or offence to other hotel guests
- b) administer or distribute psychotropic substances
- c) are under the influence of alcohol or narcotics
- d) conduct door-to-door sales or other forms of unauthorised business
- e) harass other persons with advances, direct sexual advances or other similar misconduct for the purpose of offering sexual services
- f) use the common areas of the hotel for purposes other than those for which they are intended
- Dogs and other small animals can be accommodated at the hotel’s discretion, provided they are healthy and do not disturb other hotel guests during their owner’s stay. The pet owner is responsible for cleaning up after the animal and is financially liable for any damage to hotel property caused by their pet. Prices for pets will be charged according to the current price list.
- The guest is liable for damage caused to hotel property according to applicable regulations. The guest is liable for any damage caused by them, unless they prove that it was not their fault. This also applies to damage that is discovered after the guest has checked out.
- If the guest has any legitimate requests or complaints during the stay, they can contact the relevant hotel staff who will make every effort to accommodate the guest’s request.
- Guests must observe quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- The guest is obliged to comply with the provisions of this accommodation order, with which they are required to acquaint themselves. In the event of a violation, the hotel has the right to terminate the service contract with the guest before the agreed-upon period expires, without any entitlement to a refund. Upon discovering a breach of the accommodation order, the hotel is authorized to take all necessary measures to prevent further violations, in accordance with the nature of the breach and in collaboration with the hotel's security service or, if necessary, the Police of the Czech Republic.
- In the event of reasonable suspicion by hotel staff of a breach of the accommodation order or damage to hotel property, the hotel employees are authorized to enter the hotel room for inspection without notifying the occupant.
- The visitor acknowledges that the premises of Hotel Arena are monitored by a recording camera system. The footage captured by the camera system is then further processed, including its storage for 14 days. The camera system is operated on the basis of the operator’s legitimate interest in ensuring the security of the building, protection of property, preventing the entry and movement of unauthorised persons and protecting the life and health of persons on the premises of Hotel Arena. - This version of the Accommodation Policy comes into force and takes effect on 01/01/2025.
